Summaries are original
NewsFlip stores event fact cards and short summaries. It does not store copied article bodies or bypass paywalls, logins, CAPTCHAs, or robots restrictions.
Decoys stay in game context
Generated decoys are not attributed to real publishers and are labeled as game decoys after the answer is revealed.
Reports go back to review
Players can flag published database rounds. Reports are reviewed by admins before content is corrected, retired, or left unchanged.
Review gates
Publication is an explicit admin action.
Imported questions begin as needs_review, not published.
Every playable question must have exactly three options and exactly one real answer.
Sensitive categories require human review before publication.
Admin writes happen through server-only routes, actions, scripts, or backend jobs.
